ARO Meetings will be held at the following race courses:
Exeter
Exeter is set on a superb site at the top of Haldon Hills and is the highest racecourse in the land at 850 feet. It is the second longest with a circuit of 2 miles and has been described as not only one of the loveliest courses, but one of the fairest tracks in the country.
Fontwell
Fontwell is uniquely set in a figure of eight; its friendly atmosphere and warm welcome are further enhanced by great viewing. The course is situated just off the A27 / A29 junction so is very easily accessible.
Hereford
Hereford is a charming course set on the edge of the Cathedral City that forms a natural gateway to the idyllic Brecon Countryside. Racemeetings are always very popular with the local crowd.
Huntingdon
Huntingdon Racecourse lies just outside the town, and is handy for the A1 and A14. The course offers exciting competitive racing at all of its meetings, and is a very friendly and compact course.
Lingfield
Lingfield Park, set in the heart of Surrey, and enjoys extensive hospitality facilities, ensuring a great day out for friends, family or work colleagues. This course features Flat and National Hunt racing, and has a top class, Polytrack all-weather surface, meaning this is one of the busiest courses in Europe.
Market Rasen
Market Rasen is the only racecourse in Lincolnshire and offers a unique experience. Its warm welcome, friendly family atmosphere and amazing views around the course ensure it is a memorable day out for all.
Newbury
Newbury Racecourse in Berkshire is one of the finest sporting venues in the UK, with 31 racedays in 2007, both Flat and National Hunt. The course offers first class facilities and is home to the Dubai International Race Day fixture each year. The racecourse celebrated 100 years of racing in 2005.
Nottingham
Nottingham Racecourse is set within the 280 acres of Colwick Park, just 2 miles from the city centre, and is easily accessible by road, rail and air.
Salisbury
Salisbury Racecourse is one of England’s oldest courses, set in the middle of picturesque Wiltshire countryside, within view of stunning Salisbury Cathedral. The Racecourse hosts 15 thoroughbred flat race meetings.
Stratford
There has been racing at Stratford Racecourse since 1755. With fifteen meetings a year, most of which take place within the summer months, this is a top flight smaller course with excellent viewing, especially since it was equipped with a new glass-fronted Grandstand in 1997.
Warwick
Warwick is situated in the shadows of the historic Warwick Castle, and enjoys a full racing calendar all year round with meetings taking place on weekdays and weekends, afternoons and evenings. The facilities at the course are renowned for comfort and luxury.
Wolverhampton
Wolverhampton is the only floodlight racecourse in the UK, offering both afternoon and evening racing all year round. Amongst the excellent facilities available, it also boasts an on-site Holiday Inn.
